Recently, a working meeting took place between Maksym Rohovenko, Head of the Volyn Regional Prosecutor’s Office, and representatives of business associations, including the European Business Association, focused on protecting entrepreneurs from unlawful interference in their economic activities. Participants in the discussion included heads of the Main Department of the State Tax Service, the Territorial Office of the Bureau of Economic Security in Volyn region, representatives of the Regional Military Administration, and the business community. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between business and law enforcement authorities, create conditions for fair competition, transparent rules, and effective protection of entrepreneurs. 💬 “Interference in the work of honest business is unacceptable. We are open to dialogue and will protect businesses that operate transparently, create jobs, and support the state during wartime,” emphasized Maksym Rohovenko, Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office. 🔹 During the meeting, the StopTysk online portal was also presented. It was created by the Office of the Prosecutor General to enable prompt reporting of cases of unlawful pressure, illegal searches, or obstruction of business activities. 🤝 The parties agreed on the importance of holding such meetings on a regular basis, maintaining open communication, and fostering constructive cooperation in pursuit of a shared goal: honest business without pressure.
