Meeting between the business community and the Head of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office took place in Zakarpattia

Recently, a meeting took place between the business community and the Head of the Zakarpattia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Myroslav Patskan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the regional prosecutor’s office, local business associations including the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association, as well as relocated companies and leading enterprises of the region. The main focus was on building open communication between business and law enforcement authorities, fostering an atmosphere of trust, and ensuring confidence that no undue pressure is exerted on compliant businesses. Myroslav Patskan emphasized that honest and transparent companies can count on the support of the прокуратura. In cases where proceedings have remained unresolved for years, he expressed readiness to personally review such cases and make final decisions. At the same time, it was clearly stated that companies attempting to operate in the shadow economy and distort fair market rules will be held accountable within criminal proceedings. For the business community, this is an important signal that regional authorities are committed to constructive dialogue, support for responsible business, and the development of a healthy economic environment.
