Lviv hosted the presentation of the book “War Life Business”

07/ 08/ 2025
In the welcoming space of Futura Hub, we gathered with the business community to talk about resilience, strength, and humanity in times of war. This meeting marked the first public presentation of “War Life Business” — a powerful book by Anastasiia Shevchenko that unveils 20 stories of Ukrainian companies and leaders who refused to give up. The book features real-life cases from members of the European Business Association and other market leaders — including Nova Poshta, ATB, Kyivstar, METRO, Arsenal Insurance, WOG, RENOME SMART, Aurora chain, Oschadbank, and more. These stories reflect adaptation, responsibility, and courageous decision-making in times of extreme uncertainty — and they serve as a powerful source of inspiration. Attendees heard directly from the author and the speakers featured in the book. They shared their visions of leadership, business transformation under pressure, and practical solutions that participants can implement in their own companies right away. The audience was deeply engaged, asking questions like: How were the companies selected? Which story touched you the most? How long did the writing process take? Guests were also the first in Ukraine to purchase the book directly from the publisher, get it signed by the author and speakers, and feel like part of a strong, values-driven community. All proceeds from the book sales will be donated to support the employment of veterans and internally displaced persons — another testament to how Ukrainian businesses continue to support the country on multiple fronts. 🙏 We thank the author, the inspiring speakers, the Futura Hub team for their hospitality, and everyone who joined this special event. More presentations will soon follow in other cities, and an English edition of the book is coming soon. 💬 Real stories matter. Share them. Act on them.
