Center for Emotional Health “UWin” Will Help Ukrainians to Defeat the Consequences of the War

09/ 09/ 2022
Every third Ukrainian will need psychological assistance after the war. According to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Health, out of 15 million potential recipients of psychological services, about3-4 million persons will need medical treatment. The pharmaceutical market has already responded to the war with a rapid increase in sales of antidepressants. The humanitarian mission UFamily has a different response to such a military challenge. This answer is the creation of the Center for Emotional Health UWin. UWin is not a one-time consultation of volunteer psychologists, but a unique program. First of all, the psychological support at UWin Center is completely free for the person who applies for it. Secondly, professional experienced doctors are not only involved in the development of the program of psychological support, but also provide their own consultations. Thirdly, the program is result-oriented, so it assumes the systematic support – track – during such a number of consultations that is necessary to achieve the desired effect. The last but not the least is the program business profitability for the donors. A full support for one aid recipient of UWin costs $80, which is roughly equal to the average cost of one private consultation. A result-oriented approach, volunteer assistance, and established business processes allow UFamily to direct the funds of those who financially support the program in the most efficient way. More than seven thousand people and three dozen medical institutions have already received assistance from the Humanitarian Mission UFamily. The goal of one of the key projects of the Mission – the Center UWin – is to help as many Ukrainians as possible to defeat the consequences of the war.
