The training “Financing for SMEs: Solutions, Tools, and Cases”

  Recently in Lviv, the training “Financing for SMEs: Solutions, Tools, and Cases” took place, organized by KSE Institute in partnership with the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association and supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The event brought together over one hundred participants, including SME owners and executives, early stage entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of banks, insurance companies, business associations, and financial institutions. During an intensive program, the following topics were discussed: 🔸 The state and challenges of SMEs in regional and sectoral contexts, presented by Anton Podilchak, Head of the Coordinating Council of the Western Ukrainian Office of the EBA. 🔸 Opportunities within the Ukraine Investment Framework, presented by Olha Slyvynska, Director of International Relations at KSE Institute. 🔸 SME banking financing, including practical cases and decision making algorithms, shared by Volodymyr Vovk, Head of the SME Department at Lviv Bank. 🔸 Business insurance, including a risk map and individual risk assessment, presented by Andrii Semchenko, Chairman of the Board of INGO Insurance Company. 🔸 A real life financing case, shared by Oleksandra Shymborska, Director of Technopak. 🔸 A practical workshop by Yaroslav Lysak, Founder and CEO of Neverdark, covering nine tools for launching and scaling a business and the criteria for choosing between them. Participants received concrete advice, practical tools, and inspiration to confidently attract financing and scale their companies. Thank you to all participants for the lively dialogue, strong engagement, and readiness to grow even in the most challenging times.
