Start Your Career with EBA Kharkiv

10/ 11/ 2025
The Kharkiv Office of the European Business Association continues to create opportunities for the development of new generations of professionals. The goal of the “Start Your Career with EBA Kharkiv” project is to give students the chance to learn first-hand about modern trends in entrepreneurship, international markets, and Ukraine’s business climate — directly from representatives of the Association’s member companies. In September, students of the International Entrepreneurship program at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University were hosted by Raiffeisen Bank. The discussion focused on how corporate banking operates, the role of financial monitoring in ensuring security, and how modern client services are built. Students visited one of the bank’s branches in Kharkiv — a technological, comfortable, and safe space, which is especially important under wartime conditions. “For us, such events are an investment in the future — a way to support young people, spark their interest in the financial sector, and allow them to see the profession from the inside,” — noted the bank’s experts. During the second visit, students toured the French Boulevard Shopping Mall. The mall’s team shared practical insights about the daily operations of a modern retail center, effective marketing tools, space and service management, and social initiatives implemented as part of corporate responsibility. Guests were welcomed warmly, and the meeting ended on a cheerful note — students received skating rink vouchers, which brought many smiles and positive emotions. The final stage of the 2025 project was a visit to one of the largest printing complexes in Europe — Factor-Druk. As part of the practical component aimed at developing business competencies, participants learned about modern printing technologies, production stages, and the company’s business model operating in international markets. Future entrepreneurs witnessed how a book is born — the result of creativity, technology, and professional mastery. At the end of the visit, each student received a copy of Daniel Goleman’s “Emotional Intelligence in Business” — a symbolic reminder of the importance of developing emotional competencies in a professional environment. EBA Kharkiv will continue to expand the “Start Your Career” project — a partnership that shapes the future by uniting business and education to bring up a strong, conscious, and competitive generation of young professionals. Ahead lie new meetings, new partners, and new opportunities for the future leaders of business. We sincerely thank the companies that joined this initiative — Raiffeisen Bank, French Boulevard Shopping Mall, and Factor-Druk — and especially the members of the EBA Kharkiv Coordination Council — Oksana Shakhova, Ihor Sbitniev, and Serhii Polituchyi — for their openness, support for youth, inspiration, and commitment to investing in the development of future professionals.
