Sayenko Kharenko becomes the European litigation team of the year by The Lawyer European Awards 2022

The ceremony took place on Tuesday, 29 November at Hilton London Bankside Hotel. Sayenko Kharenko becomes the first ever firm from Ukraine that wins the title of the European litigation team of the year. Moreover, Sayenko Kharenko has been highly commended in the Best ESG Initiative and the European finance team of the year categories. This is a record number of recognition for a Ukrainian firm within one award. This year, The Lawyer decided to turn the Law Firm of The Year Ukraine category into a non-competitive category, which means no winner was announced on the night. Instead, all the work the Ukrainian firms have done over the past year was celebrated. “In these difficult times for our country, every recognition like this is an opportunity to remind about Ukraine, to demonstrate our courage and thirst for victory, to ask for help, which is so important. For the first time in the history of this prestigious international award, a firm from Ukraine has been recognised for its professional work in litigation sphere. Each year The Lawyer European Awards showcase the impressive achievements of Europe’s finest within the legal industry. The awards scheme attracts entries from over 120 independent law firms headquartered in Europe and global firms across the continent.
