EBA representatives joined a meeting with the NBU leadership

On 29 October, the European Business Association team, along with members of the Board and representatives of member companies, took part in a regular meeting between the business community and the leadership of the National Bank of Ukraine. The NBU Governor, Andriy Pyshnyy, informed business association representatives about: cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and the update of the IMF programme; Ukraine’s 2026 state budget; inflows of international financial support and prospects for receiving a reparation loan; the state of the banking system, lending, and the NBU’s position on the initiative to introduce additional taxation on bank income; the prerequisites for further currency liberalisation. We appreciate the opportunity to receive up-to-date information directly from the regulator and to discuss issues of importance for business. The EBA is grateful to the National Bank of Ukraine for its ongoing open dialogue and cooperation!
