A Future for Those Who Gave Everything: The “Education for the Children of Heroes” Initiative

22/ 08/ 2025
The Children of Heroes Charity Fund is starting a new initiative called Education for the Children of Heroes. We are raising funds to support the schooling of children who have lost one or both parents due to the war. Our Fund currently cares for over 13,800 children. For many of them, going back to school isn’t just about getting new notebooks and pens; it’s a lifeline, a chance to build a better future in the face of unimaginable loss. To make sure these children can continue their education, we need ongoing support for critical programs each quarter: IT education for 300 children ($28,500) English language and mental math for 442 children ($45,000) One-on-one sessions with teachers and psychologists for 150 children ($8,000) We also need $18,500 to provide school supplies to 5,400 children from families who cant afford to buy what they need for the school year. To make giving easy, were launching the Smart Charity Shop. In this unique online store, you can donate directly to specific needs. You can add things to your cart like A Lesson for a Child, Learning device maintenance, or school supply bundles that are customized for different age groups. Were so grateful for our project partners, who have already helped us meet some of these needs. A huge thank you to Aurora Multimarket, Metro, Kite, Epicenter, and Boosters Team for your commitment to education and for being such valued partners. The challenge is ongoing. We welcome around 60 new children to the Fund every single week. Many come from families with very low incomes, where the cost of education is simply out of reach without outside help. Please help us give the children of our Heroes the future they deserve.
