EBA Dnipro Webinar: Economic Code of Ukraine has been canceled: Corporate changes

On September 11, a webinar organized by EBA Dnipro together with Forvis Mazars in Ukraine was held, dedicated to key changes in legislation related to the repeal of the Economic Code of Ukraine. Starting from August 28, 2025, business operates in new conditions, as the absence of such a fundamental regulatory act creates serious challenges, especially in the field of corporate relations. Experts from Forvis Mazars in Ukraine analyzed in detail how the cancellation of the Commercial Code will affect the activities of companies, what risks arise for entrepreneurs, and what steps should be taken to properly adapt to new realities. Among the key issues that were considered during the webinar were the following: Goals and expectations from the reform of commercial legislation. The speakers explained the logic of the changes, emphasizing that the main goal of the reform is to simplify the regulatory field, eliminate conflicts between regulatory acts, and bring Ukrainian legislation in line with European standards. Transition period and practical implementation of changes. Participants received recommendations on how companies should act during adaptation: what to pay attention to in internal processes, which documents should be reviewed, and how to avoid legal risks during the transition period. Particular attention was also paid to innovations in the field of corporate governance, which may affect the structure of management processes in companies.
