Through its public interest remit, ACCA promotes appropriate regulation of accounting, engages in relevant research and issues guidance to ensure that accountancy continues to grow in reputation and influence. It holds recognition for statutory audit or tax purposes in multiple jurisdictions and advocates for adoption of global standards to strengthen transparency and trust in financial reporting
