EBA and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group held an educational event for entrepreneurs in the Kyiv region

On 3 December, the sixth educational event in the “Sustainable Business Development in Times of Uncertainty” project series took place in Kyiv for representatives of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses who, despite the war, continue their operations in frontline and high-risk areas. The project is implemented by the European Business Association in partnership with UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. The event’s agenda included two thematic blocks – “Advice for Business Growth” and “Taxes for Business”.The speaker of the first block was Anastasiia Hlushchenko, CEO and founder of the strategic marketing agency Stasy Passion. She outlined the key challenges businesses are facing today, shared approaches to development in conditions of uncertainty, and explained how to build realistic and resilient growth planning.The second block focused on tax changes and risks for businesses. Ihor Mlechko, Managing Partner at ASA GROUP, presented an overview of the key amendments to tax legislation, explained how the moratorium on inspections will operate in 2025, which categories of businesses remain in the spotlight of supervisory authorities, and which criteria the State Tax Service uses to identify heightened tax risks.
