EBA Expert Talk in Kharkiv with KPMG: Consequences of the 1210 Law for IT Companies

On February 2020, the experts of the Transfer Pricing Group of KPMG Ukraine Volodymyr Chyzhikov, Evgeniya Maruschenko and Maria Chubenko clarified the amendments to the 1210 Law and their influence on IT business sector to the representatives of EBA Kharkiv and Kharkiv IT Cluster. “BEPS will significantly change the current tax climate. It will also affect the business activities of the foreign companies operating within Ukraine and the national ones operating abroad, enforce them to revise their corporate structures and approaches to the tax planning,” underlined Volodymyr Chyzhikov. Changes in the Law regarding the Controlled Foreign Corporations and the Permanent Representations attracted the greatest attention of the IT sector representatives due to their business model specificity.
