Agrosem Launches Partnership with Dutch Company BBLeap for Ultra-Precision Spraying: Agrochemical Savings of Up to 35%

26/ 01/ 2026
Agrosem has announced the start of a partnership with the Dutch company BBLeap, a developer of ultra-precision spraying technology that enables a reduction in agrochemical use by up to 35% while increasing crop yields by 3–12%. The cooperation aims to accelerate the large-scale adoption of precision agriculture technologies by Ukrainian farms in 2026. The companies explain that in modern crop production, up to 40% of losses may occur not due to weather conditions or the quality of crop-protection products, but because of application inaccuracy — overlaps, unstable pressure, varying machine speeds, and the human factor. As a result, some areas of the field receive excessive doses, others insufficient amounts, while part of the applied product becomes ineffective. According to BBLeap, their solution eliminates this problem through a system that controls each nozzle individually and maintains a consistent droplet size regardless of sprayer speed or field terrain. The Plant Precision Spraying technology combines hardware and software solutions and ensures application accuracy down to 25×25 cm, with data updates occurring 40 times per second. BBLeap estimates that without automated systems, the real-world accuracy of crop-protection application typically does not exceed 85–90%, meaning that up to 15% of a field’s area may be treated incorrectly each year. These “invisible” losses, the company notes, directly affect production costs and the overall financial performance of farms. Agrosem emphasizes that the partnership with BBLeap complements its broader agri-innovation strategy. According to the company’s data, in 2025 Agrosem’s precision agriculture technologies helped optimize costs and increase yields on more than 500,000 hectares in western regions of Ukraine alone. BBLeap is already present in 15 countries across four continents and positions its technology as part of a broader Clean Food, Clean World philosophy, focusing on reducing chemical pressure on soil and crops without compromising productivity. Agrosem expects that combining its expertise in implementing precision agriculture with BBLeap’s engineering solutions will enable Ukrainian farms to transition more quickly from traditional spraying to a model where every drop matters — both economically and for soil health.
