Food, Dairy, Retail, Wine and Spirits

  Draft Law «On Information about Food Products for Consumers» No. 8450 dated June 7, 2018 was adopted by VRU in the first reading on July 10, 2018, which included the majority of the Food, Dairy, Retail and Wine & Spirits Committees’ proposals and comments. DL includes in particular: Unification of rules for labeling food products; ensuring consumer interests; protecting consumers from misleading, etc. We are grateful to the MPs and VRU Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations for the efforts in the adoption of the Draft Law in the 1st reading and look forward to its adoption as a whole with EBA proposals.
