EBA held a meeting with the Ministry of Economy on climate policy issues On 31 October, the Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee of the European Business Association met with Pavlo Kartashov, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine. During the discussion, participants addressed key issues of climate policy, including Ukraine’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), the Emissions Trading System (ETS), and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The participants exchanged ideas on potential areas for future cooperation and joint actions in climate policy to ensure a balanced approach to the decarbonisation of the economy. The EBA extends its gratitude to the Ministry for a productive meeting and its openness to dialogue!
