{"id":792216,"date":"2019-04-08T13:21:05","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T10:21:05","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2019-06-21T16:29:44","modified_gmt":"2019-06-21T13:29:44","slug":"kruglyj-stil-rozvytok-portovoyi-galuzi-govoryat-praktyky-2019-04-08-13-21","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/event\/kruglyj-stil-rozvytok-portovoyi-galuzi-govoryat-praktyky-2019-04-08-13-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Round Table &#8220;Port Industry Development: Practitioners Talks&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Registration is closed!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The EBA is pleased to invite you to a high-calibre \u201cmust-attend\u201d event <strong>\u201cPort Industry Development: Practitioners Talks\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 to be held as part of the annual\u00a0<strong>Ukrainian Ports Forum 2019<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a key industry event which has been running very successfully, and will be in its second year <strong>in Odesa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The round table is a targeted event specially designed for exporters and importers, representatives of port operators, logistics, banking, finance and maritime businesses, suppliers and those involved in the development and operation of container ports, warehouses and terminals.<\/p>\n<p>An intimate niche discussion (open to registered participants only), comprising a select handful of industry experts, allows for insightful talks and great networking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Questions on the agenda<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Port industry reform: how to change governance and attract new investments<\/li>\n<li>Problems during ecological inspections in sea ports and terminals, from a legal and practical standpoint<\/li>\n<li>Laws and regulations in the maritime industry: new changes 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Within the Ukrainian Ports Forum 2019 will create a location for B2B meetings <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The business component of the Ukrainian Ports Forum 2019 in Odessa has been replenished with a special B2B session, which will be held on the second day of the forum on May 31. The new format involves organizing a series of discussions and meetings between representatives of foreign and Ukrainian companies.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The B2B session will allow the forum participants to move from discussing global trends that affect the development of the port industry in Ukraine and the world to address the business challenges they face, taking into account the information received on the first day. Already about 8 companies have declared their readiness for discussions. These are international corporations, manufacturers of equipment, digital solutions for the port industry and investors&#8221;<\/em> \u2013 Head of Organizing Committee of UPF 2019, Head of USPA <strong>Raivis Veckagans<\/strong> commented on the addition of the Forum\u2019s program.
