Within the reorganised Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, a dedicated department for the registration of pesticides and agrochemicals is currently being established. In addition, a national contact person has been officially appointed under the Rotterdam Convention\u2019s Prior Informed Consent procedure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"709\">These steps send an important signal to the market and ensure that high-quality, original crop protection products will be delivered to Ukrainian farmers on time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"929\">Recently, a meeting of the Agrochemical Headquarters under the Ministry of Economy took place, during which specific results of business-government cooperation and the latest sector updates were presented, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">A new section titled <a href=\"https:\/\/me.gov.ua\/Tags\/DocumentsByTag?lang=uk-UA&amp;id=68320bd4-dd44-46a6-9c27-e922ed8e84ca&amp;tag=DerzhavnaRestratsiiaPestitsidivIAgrokhimikativ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cState Registration of Pesticides and Agrochemicals\u201d<\/a> has been launched on the Ministry\u2019s website, along with the publication of the State Register. The section will be regularly updated as new information becomes available.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">The State Testing Plan for 2025 will be published shortly.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">Active work is underway on developing application and contract templates, approving payment details for services, and related documentation.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">A Scientific and Expert Council on State Registration of Pesticides and Agrochemicals will be established in the coming days.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">Expert commissions of chemists and environmental specialists are being formed in parallel.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">The procedure for authorising scientific institutions to conduct state testing has been launched.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1809\">A negotiation position for Ukraine\u2019s EU accession is currently being prepared.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1811\" data-end=\"2160\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The European Business Association extends its gratitude to the Ministry of Economy team, particularly to Deputy Minister Taras Vysotskyi, for this highly professional and effective start.
