\"\"The issue of export duties on soybeans and rapeseed remains unresolved. Since the introduction of these duties under Law No. 4536-IX, export activity has come to a standstill. While the law stipulates that agricultural producers exporting their own harvest are exempt, the exemption mechanism is ineffective due to the lack of a clear procedure for verifying ‘self-grown produce.’ Consequently, both farmers and exporters face daily losses from vessel demurrage fines. This issue has drawn the attention of the international community. Last Friday, members of the EBA Grain & Oilseeds Committee met with representatives from EU member state diplomatic missions to discuss the problem.<\/div>\n
