\"\"On 11 September, the European Business Association discussed the new Customs Code and updated AEO procedures at a meeting with experts from the State Customs Service of Ukraine. In addition, the EBA\u2019s leadership met with Serhii Zviahintsev, Acting Head of the State Customs Service. The EBA highly values Mr Zviahintsev\u2019s openness to dialogue and the shared vision on customs reform.<\/p>\n

The meeting focused on the progress of the State Customs Service reform, conceptual changes in the new Customs Code, and complex technical aspects of the updated AEO procedures. As is well known, the customs sphere in Ukraine holds a leading position in terms of alignment with EU requirements, the level of adaptation to EU recommendations stands at 95%, the highest indicator among other areas.<\/p>\n

The EBA experts remain in constant contact with the State Customs Service team and are pleased to provide proposals for finalising the new Customs Code and aligning it with the EU Customs Code.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
