On 1 September 2025, the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Lobbying\u201d No. 3606-IX<\/a> came into force, marking an important step in regulating lobbying activities and ensuring ethical interaction between business and public authorities.<\/p>\n

From this date, any lobbying activity is only possible after prior registration in the Transparency Register of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.<\/p>\n

The European Business Association was registered as a lobbying entity<\/a> on the very first day of the Register\u2019s operation. Currently, 30 EBA employees have been included in the NACP Transparency Register as lobbyists.<\/p>\n

It is worth recalling that the EBA operates a Committee on Lobbying and Transparent Policies<\/a>, which aims to bring together lobbying professionals, GR specialists, lawyers, and others to exchange experience in transparent interaction with public authorities, as well as to develop and implement initiatives that enhance transparency and accountability in business.<\/p>\n

To help companies navigate the requirements of the new lobbying legislation, experts of the Committee have prepared recommendations for businesses on how to prepare for compliance with the Law. These guidelines are available via the following link<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The EBA invites companies to join the professional community to exchange expertise and jointly address pressing issues.<\/p>\n
