{"id":789645,"date":"2025-08-26T11:23:46","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T08:23:46","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-08-26T11:23:46","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T08:23:46","slug":"eba-vitaye-initsiatyvy-uryadu-z-pidtrymky-veteraniv-ta-veteranok","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/eba-vitaye-initsiatyvy-uryadu-z-pidtrymky-veteraniv-ta-veteranok\/","title":{"rendered":"EBA welcomes Government initiatives to support veterans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"167\" data-end=\"389\">The European Business Association welcomes the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which, at its meeting on 22 August 2025, approved 11 important initiatives aimed at supporting the defenders of our country.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"470\">In particular, the EBA highly values the Government\u2019s initiatives on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>establishing veteran hubs,<\/li>\n<li>providing systematic support,<\/li>\n<li>introducing adaptation and rehabilitation programmes,<\/li>\n<li>and offering financial assistance, such as compensation of 50% of the cost of vehicles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"1205\">The European Business Association and its member companies stand ready to actively contribute to the implementation of state projects on the reintegration of veterans into civilian and economic life. The business community will provide assistance with employment by creating tailored hiring programmes, adapting workplaces for veterans with disabilities, supporting professional retraining and social integration, as well as offering mentoring and expert guidance for veterans who wish to start their own businesses.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"1205\">\t<div class=\"blockquote-custom-big animate-block animate-block--before animate-block--to-right\">\n\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-header\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Anna_14012022.png\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"name\">Anna Derevyanko<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"position\">Executive Director of the European Business Association<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"blockquote-custom\">\n\t\t\t\tMany of our member companies have experience of working with veterans in different countries across the world.
