{"id":789589,"date":"2025-07-16T13:20:03","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T10:20:03","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-10-13T11:50:14","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T08:50:14","slug":"klimatychni-tsili-ta-ekonomika-pozytsiya-biznesu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/klimatychni-tsili-ta-ekonomika-pozytsiya-biznesu\/","title":{"rendered":"Climate targets and the economy: the business perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"65\" data-end=\"337\">The Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee of the European Business Association has prepared an analytical study titled: &#8220;Establishing and Implementing the Nationally Determined Contribution while Preserving the Ukrainian Economy: Key Challenges and Solutions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"354\"><a href=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/NDC_presentation-eng.pdf\">THE STUDY<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"659\">The document is based on consultations with industry experts from the Committee, who possess hands-on experience in implementing environmental policy across industrial sectors, as well as on contributions from the business community regarding the implementation of climate goals amid wartime conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"966\">The study highlights, in particular, the risks of setting climate targets without proper prior consultation with businesses and industry specialists.
