As part of the first panel discussion, \u201cLeveraging the Current Economic, Political and Financial Outlook\u201d Svitlana Mykhailovska represented the voice of businesses operating in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In her remarks, Svitlana emphasized the following:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Despite the full-scale war, 75% of EBA member companies are operating at full capacity, while another 24% continue with certain\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">restriction<\/span>s. 77% of companies plan to keep working in Ukraine regardless of whether hostilities end this year<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>a testament to the unique resilience of the private sector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Foreign investors are not staying away: 8 out of 10 are interested in participating in Ukraine\u2019s recovery, and 17% of new investors are ready to invest even before the war ends.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The examples of Kyivstar, Nestl\u00e9, Dragon Capital, Bayer, BASF, Global Clearance Solutions, and others prove that businesses are not just surviving in Ukraine<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>they are investing, growing, and launching new projects despite the war.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">A critical signal to investors was Ukraine\u2019s acquisition of EU candidate status, which defines the long-term trajectory of transformation.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The business community represented by the EBA is clear: Ukrainian business is not waiting for peace<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>it is already rebuilding the country and is open to partnerships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Other panelists<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>Kurt Volker, Kuninori Matsuda, Pavlo Kukhta, and Dario Quintavalle<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>also underlined:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The importance of transparent reforms and institutional capacity;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Ukraine\u2019s moral high ground and the strength of its civil society;<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The entrepreneurial spirit of Ukrainians as a unique foundation for post-war growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The event confirmed that the window of opportunity for the private sector is open now. Ukraine needs investment, and businesses operating in Ukraine are ready for partners.
