The CLP Regulation provides for the classification and labelling of chemical substances in accordance with the international GHS system, as well as notifications to be submitted to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"1202\">While the business community supports gradual alignment with European standards, it emphasises the need for detailed guidance on the practical aspects of implementing both regulations. This includes the procedure for pre-registration of substances, the status of the launch of the State Register of Chemical Substances, plans to include agrochemicals, and clarity regarding timelines and responsible authorities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1634\">Additionally, business representatives stress the importance of maintaining constant communication with state authorities, holding consultations, and ensuring conditions for a phased adaptation to the new requirements. Companies believe that a transitional period is essential and that sufficient time must be provided to allow for preparation \u2014 including updating documentation, training staff, and organising internal processes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1636\" data-end=\"1807\">They also point out the need to consider the possibility of postponing the implementation of the requirements until 2030 or until the necessary infrastructure is in place.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"2176\">In this regard, the European Business Association appeals to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, and the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management with the following requests:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2612\">\n<li data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2308\">\n<p data-start=\"2180\" data-end=\"2308\">To provide up-to-date information on the implementation of the REACH and CLP Regulations and the long-term plans in this area;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2309\" data-end=\"2418\">\n<p data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2418\">To consider postponing their implementation until 2030 or until the necessary conditions are established;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2484\">\n<p data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2484\">To create joint working groups with business representatives;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2485\" data-end=\"2612\">\n<p data-start=\"2487\" data-end=\"2612\">To continue the dialogue on the specifics of implementing the regulations and to ensure a transitional period for businesses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2614\" data-end=\"2666\">We hope this business appeal receives due attention!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Member companies of the European Business Association have approached state authorities requesting a clear roadmap for the implementation of the REACH and CLP Regulations in Ukraine.
