On 22 April, the European Business Association, with the support of DTEK Group and UCGA, held the first meeting of the EBA Lobbying Talks<\/strong> series. The event was moderated by Serhii Kovalenko, CEO of Yasno, and featured Andriy Kobolyev \u2014 Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine (2014-2021), founder of Eney, and co-founder of Denetek and Healthy Mind \u2014 as the first guest.<\/p>\n

EBA Lobbying Talks is a project initiated by the European Business Association\u2019s Lobbying Committee, implemented in partnership with DTEK Group and the Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy. The organisers aim to foster a transparent lobbying market and a professional lobbying culture, while promoting open dialogue between business, government, and changemakers.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, participants discussed:<\/p>\n

  • \n

    the development of the lobbying market in Ukraine and anticipated changes with the adoption of new legislation;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    key challenges in business-government relations;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    practical cases of effective lobbying and dialogue building.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The event\u2019s social partner was the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund. Attendees had the opportunity to make donations to support the Fund\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n
