On 27 March, an online meeting of the EBA ESG Hub was held in collaboration with SAP and Deloitte. The key topic of discussion was environmental, social, and corporate governance, focusing on major challenges, local specifics, and the role of technology in the ESG transformation process. Additionally, participants paid significant attention to a crucial social issue\u2014children’s online safety in wartime conditions.<\/p>\n
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the latest changes and trends in ESG reporting regulations. Yuliana Reviuk, Senior Manager for Strategic and Reputational Risks at Deloitte Ukraine, shared practical advice on effective reporting and introduced Deloitte\u2019s comprehensive portfolio of sustainability services.<\/p>\n
Michal Furman, SAP Sustainability Lead for Central Europe at Deloitte Poland, addressed key challenges in ESG reporting and performance management, highlighting technology as a driver of positive change.<\/p>\n
Gergely Jancs\u00e1r, SAP CEE Sustainability Director, discussed carbon emissions management using AI in ESG reporting. He also presented SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), a solution designed for ESG reporting.<\/p>\n
A separate and essential part of the meeting was dedicated to children’s online safety. Iryna Shevchuk and Anastasiia Diakova, founder of the NGO #StopSexting, author of the book “Children and Parents on the Internet: A Guide for a Safe Journey”, and host of the podcast “Good Parents Don\u2019t Get Blocked”, emphasised the need to protect children in the digital environment, especially amid the full-scale invasion. They shared key initiatives and achievements of StopSexting in this area.<\/p>\n
