On 15 November, representatives of the European Business Association met with the State Enterprise “Forestry Innovation and Analytical Centre” (FIAC).<\/p>\n

The newly appointed Acting Director General of FIAC, Hamlet Poghosyan, outlined the Centre\u2019s current tasks and plans, particularly in the context of digitalising the sector. Yurii Andriiv, EBA Committee Manager, expressed support for the Centre\u2019s efforts to enhance transparency, promote digitalisation, and simplify conditions for business operations.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that FIAC plays a key role in the woodworking industry. It is responsible for issuing electronic logging permits, entering data into a unified electronic database, verifying these entries, and visualising permit-related information on maps.<\/p>\n
