\u041elena Sytenok, Manager of the Health \u0421are Committee, and Iryna Mahdik, Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Subcommittee of the European Business Association, took part in the conference titled \u201cEuropean Integration of Ukraine: Healthcare,\u201d organized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in cooperation with European partners.<\/p>\n

The conference focused on the harmonization of Ukraine\u2019s healthcare system with that of Europe, including the implementation of best European practices and standards, digitalization and the creation of a unified medical information space, workforce development, as well as the reconstruction of Ukraine\u2019s healthcare system. Additionally, the conference served as a platform for discussing current issues related to access to medicines.<\/p>\n

Of significant importance for the future planning of the Clinical Trials Subcommittee\u2019s activities was the discussion on the current state of the industry, challenges, and development prospects for clinical research in the context of European integration and the full-scale war, along with potential cooperation with the Rene\u00a0J.\u00a0Steiner,<\/strong> Counsellor, Delegation of the EU to Ukraine,\u00a0Borisa\u00a0Falatar,<\/strong> Team Leader International Relations HERA European Commission, Dr.\u00a0Jarno\u00a0Habicht,<\/strong>\u00a0WHO\u00a0Representative\u00a0and\u00a0Head\u00a0of\u00a0Country\u00a0Office\u00a0to\u00a0Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Participants of the event included leading figures in the European integration process, representatives of the European Commission and the EU Delegation to Ukraine, international guests, as well as Ukrainian professionals such as doctors, healthcare experts, and representatives of the pharmaceutical business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
