The latest trends in business relations with law enforcement agencies. How to avoid becoming the subject of unnecessary prosecution? – was the topic of the meeting.<\/p>\n

Attorneys-at-law, advisers to the Arzinger<\/strong>\u2019s Criminal Law and Business Practice – Oleksiy Zadoenko and Oleksandr Maksymenko<\/strong> stated the reasons of the procedural pressure on companies and listed the most common mistakes made by them in their commercial activity.<\/p>\n

The main risks for business during criminal proceedings were considered, as well as how they can be minimized.<\/p>\n

Particular attention was paid to methods of protecting companies from pressure of law enforcement agencies. Despite the effectiveness of the classic methods, new unconventional and quite creative ones have recently become widespread – appeals to the Parliamentary Ombudsman, to the Commission for Business Protection at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to the European Business Association, to the Mass Media, etc.<\/p>\n

The discussion on the reform of law enforcement agencies, namely, the disbandment of the Tax Police and creation of the Ukraine\u2019s Bureau of Economic Security, summarized the meeting.<\/p>\n
