The event was organized under the chairmanship of Kharkiv Region Prosecutor Amil Omarov.<\/p>\n<p>The main goal was to create transparent, equal and predictable conditions for doing business even in times of war.<\/p>\n<p>The EBA was represented by Anna Chaika, auditor, partner at Business Element. In her speech, she emphasized the need for real implementation of the practice of compliance with the law by all parties:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;We can meet many times in different formats of business and government dialog. However, after this pleasant communication, I would like each of the branches of power to convey to their executives a simple truth &#8211; compliance with the law is mandatory for everyone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The participants discussed a number of systemic issues:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cases of pressure on entrepreneurs;<\/li>\n<li>lack of response to business appeals;<\/li>\n<li>the need to move to constructive, professional communication.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The key messages voiced by the business community included<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the need to adhere to the principles of non-violent communication;<\/li>\n<li>development of a culture of professional dialogue between government agencies and entrepreneurs;<\/li>\n<li>zero tolerance for corruption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The EBA Kharkiv Office representatives call on the authorities to systematically implement these approaches in the work of government agencies, as this is what determines business confidence and the investment climate in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kharkiv hosted a working meeting between representatives of the business community and the heads of regulatory and law enforcement agencies in the region.
