EBA Kharkiv participated in a meeting with the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and a representative of the Office of the Chief Prosecutor. The main goal of the event was to establish high-quality communication and open dialogue between responsible businesses and law enforcement agencies, as well as to voice the urgent problems of entrepreneurs in the region and discuss mechanisms for overcoming them.<\/p>\n

The representatives of the prosecutor’s office emphasized that pressure on transparent business is unacceptable, especially in conditions of martial law, when only every sixth enterprise in Kharkiv region has resumed its work, and violations of human rights and humanitarian law by the russian federation are recorded almost every day.<\/p>\n

Business also shared its urgent issues, namely delays in opening criminal proceedings for damage or destruction of property caused by russian military aggression. The prosecutor’s office stressed that the issue will be gradually resolved by expanding the staff of employees.<\/p>\n
