Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Mr Etienne de Poncins<\/strong><\/em>, who arrived in Kharkiv on the occasion of the French Spring Festival opening, met with the EBA Kharkiv principals.<\/p>\n

Mr Ambassador expressed his interest yet again in the cooperation between Ukraine and France in agriculture, IT, defense, waste recycling and other environmental initiatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvesting in the economy of Ukraine depends on the legal culture level and the functioning of the Ukrainian national judicial system,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

The issue of high level of corruption in our country, which is currently a significant obstacle to business cooperation, was also raised by Mr de Poncins, who believes Ukraine has a great potential, but needs to step up work to build the rule of law, as every French company planning to invest in the Ukrainian economy must be confident that there are no unexpected unpleasant risks.<\/p>\n

We truly thank Ambassador Etienne de Poncins and Mr Fabrice Disdier, Director of the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise in Kharkiv, for their time and their willingness to listen to our business \u201cvoices\u201d!<\/p>\n
