On the morning of the same day, this was preceded by the President&#8217;s appeal to the EU regarding the possibility of joining the EU under a special procedure.<\/p>\n\t<div class=\"blockquote-custom-big animate-block animate-block--before animate-block--to-right\">\n\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-header\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Anna_2020.png\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"name\">Anna Derevyanko<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"position\">EBA Executive Director<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"blockquote-custom\">\n\t\t\t\tAgainst the dramatic war background, truly historical events are unfolding today. We do not yet know the details of the terms of accession, and this is only the first step in this direction. However, this is a powerful signal of support for the conscious choice of Ukrainians, to which we have been going for so long.
