Next week, there will be the EBA Sustainable Development Day held on November 11. This is an annual event initiated by the EBA Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee. This year we have prepared many surprises for the participants during the official part followed by the refreshing networking buffet.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will start with a presentation of the EBA Sustainable Development Index results which will be discussed by the\u00a0<\/span>government officials<\/span><\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Ruslan Strilets<\/span><\/strong>, Acting<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization, <\/span>Tetiana Lomakina<\/span><\/strong>, Advisor \u2013 Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Barrier-Free Environment,\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span>international partners<\/span><\/em>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Chloe Allio<\/span><\/strong>, Head of Section – Operations – Economic Cooperation, Energy, Infrastructure and Environment in the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, <\/span>Oleksandr Muliar<\/strong>, Manager of UNDP Supporting Green Recovery in Ukraine Project,\u00a0<\/span>Tetiana Sakharuk<\/span><\/strong>, Director of Global Compact Representative Office in Ukraine, and, surely,\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span>business representative\u00a0<\/span><\/em>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Vitaliy Chudak<\/span><\/strong>, Head of the Regional Development Projects Department of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (Naftogaz Group).<\/span><\/p>\n

In the second panel, participants will have the opportunity to hear about sustainable development initiatives from CEOs and board members of leading budget-generating Ukrainian and international companies. Thus,\u00a0<\/span>Tiberiu Dima<\/span><\/strong>, General Director, BASF Ukraine,\u00a0<\/span>Dmytro Sakharuk<\/span><\/strong>, Executive Director, DTEK,\u00a0<\/span>Oleksandr Romanyuk<\/span><\/strong>, Director of the Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division, Naftogaz of Ukraine,\u00a0<\/span>Maksym Yurkov<\/span><\/strong>, Member of the Management Board, NPC \u00abUkrenergo\u00a0<\/span>Pavlo Pyltiay<\/span><\/strong>, Executive Director, Kronospan Rivne, Yaroslavna Blonska<\/strong>, Executive Manager External Relations, Ferrexpo <\/span>will share their experience with the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third part of the event will be devoted to the exchange of views with representatives of the Government and Parliament on how the state can contribute to the sustainable development of Ukraine. The discussion will feature\u00a0<\/span>Oleh Bondarenko<\/span><\/strong>, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management,<\/span>\u00a0Oleksiy Ustenko<\/span><\/strong>, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Rents, Environmental Tax and Taxation of the Agro-Industrial complex, of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy,\u00a0<\/span>Lyudmyla Buimister<\/span><\/strong>, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Competition and Equal Business Conduct of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Kyrylo Kryvolap<\/span><\/strong>, Executive Director of the Center for Economic Recovery, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n
