Web Summit, one of the world’s largest technology events, will take place in Lisbon from 1 to 4 November.<\/span><\/p>\n

And for the first time, the Ukrainian technological ecosystem will be officially presented at Web Summit. During all days of the event, Ukraine will have its own national pavilion to demonstrate its prominent startups, IT service companies, foundations, and innovations to the world. Its goal is to tell what Ukraine can be proud of in terms of technologies and why we can be interesting at the global level.<\/span><\/p>\n

On November 2 at 16.00, there will be a\u00a0<\/span>MasterClass: Hidden Gem: Ukraine’s Tech Ecosystem at a Glance<\/span><\/strong>, where Ukrainian technology companies will present the huge IT capabilities of our country on real examples. Thus, we will learn about the cases of\u00a0<\/span>Digital Future, Avenga, Sigma Software, Fondy, Parimatch Tech, Rocket, ISSP, Unit.City, Concord Fintech Solutions<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later in the evening, a special Ukrainian party will take place in one of Lisbon’s restaurants which will be truly cosmic \u2013 in the best traditions of tech, innovations, and even with the participation of astronauts. As when we look up at the miracles created by our Ukrainian IT specialists, it really seems that they are from another planet \ud83d\ude80 And, by the way, we very much hope that world leaders who are friends of Ukraine will also be able to visit us, but for now we won\u2019t give any spoilers on that \ud83d\ude09 The only thing we announce now is that the event will be opened by Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukraine has surely something to be proud of. Ukrainian developers are bringing to life tremendous projects, and the Ukrainian IT industry is gradually conquering the world. In 15 years, the industry has grown 114 times and has rapidly transformed from a low-cost haven to an influential trendsetter in the tech world. In terms of service quality, Ukrainian IT developers currently rank 4th in Europe and 5th in the world. And the key customers are the United States (about 50%), the EU (35%), and Canada (8%), among which are the world’s IT giants.<\/span><\/p>\n
