The European Business Association presented an updated version of the White Paper on Environmental Policy Reforms during the\u00a0<\/span>roundtable<\/span><\/a>\u00a0held on October 4.<\/span><\/p>\n

The White Paper contains business proposals to 18 environmental reforms, divided into 4 topics: regulatory environmental policy, climate change & decarbonization, instruments for financing environmental policy, nature management & biodiversity conservation.<\/p>\n\t

\n\t\t\t\tThis is the second edition of the White Paper on the reform of environmental policy and legislation, developed by the EBA Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee experts. It is currently the only document of its kind that represents the consolidated view of the business community on the design of regulatory initiatives in environmental protection and climate policy. Our approach is based on a review of current EU legislation in relevant areas and practical experience in their implementation, as well as recommendations adapted to the Ukrainian context. We hope that it will become a guide for all stakeholders involved in shaping the environmental agenda of our country.\n\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n

The business community reiterates that a comprehensive approach to environmental issues at the national and international levels will not only help Ukraine protect its economic interests but also maintain its position as a reliable economic partner of the EU countries and gain additional technological and investment opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n
