At the same time, it causes an ambiguous understanding of the purpose of the List both by the professional community and by individual operators of the pharmaceutical market. After all, the formation by the state of any new list of medicines should provide for the regulation of the procedure for its filling, formation, renewal, and approval. Besides, it is unclear how the quantity and need for relevant medicines, the method, and timing of their procurement, supply, sources of funding, etc. will be determined.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the EBA Health Care Committee appealed to the Minister of Health of Ukraine \u2013 Mr. Viktor Liashko, Chairman of the VRU Committee on Public Health, Medical Assistance and Medical Insurance \u2013 Maksym Radutskyi with a request to promote transparency, consistency, and integrity in considering any initiatives in the pharmaceutical field and reconsidering the need to create such List.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A draft list of the essential medicines for the emergency needs of the population was recently published on the website of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
