{"id":788043,"date":"2021-05-26T15:24:14","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T12:24:14","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2024-01-31T22:39:47","modified_gmt":"2024-01-31T20:39:47","slug":"eva-prezentuvala-doslidzhennya-shhodo-vykorystannya-zoloshlakiv-u-dorozhnomu-budivnytstvi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/eva-prezentuvala-doslidzhennya-shhodo-vykorystannya-zoloshlakiv-u-dorozhnomu-budivnytstvi\/","title":{"rendered":"EBA presented a study on the use of ash slag in road construction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Today, May 26, the EBA Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee hold a roundtable discussion dedicated to the use of ash and slag materials \u2013 waste from thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in road construction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">EBA experts for the first time presented a study on <a href=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/White_Paper_Slag-_in_road_construction.pdf\">&#8220;The use of ash and slag in road construction. European experience and perspectives for Ukraine&#8221;<\/a>. The document helps in an accessible and structured form explain the current realities of the use of ash slag in Ukraine and the EU and contains recommendations for increasing their use as substitutes for exhaustible natural materials, as well as for the transition to a circular economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As a result, the participants of the discussion came to the conclusion that the state and its stimulus policy should become the main motivator and driver in increasing the use of industrial waste, including ash and slag materials, in the domestic economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is worth noting that the European Business Association, and member companies from our Industrial Ecology &amp; Sustainable Development Committee have consistently advocated the policy for sustainable economic development and consider it their mission to help the government introduce better European principles in the environmental field.
