{"id":787892,"date":"2021-01-22T16:26:25","date_gmt":"2021-01-22T14:26:25","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-01-25T12:25:24","modified_gmt":"2021-01-25T10:25:24","slug":"yedynyj-golos-biznesu-vystupaye-proty-zaprovadzhennya-derzhavnogo-regulyuvannya-rynkiv-energetyky","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/yedynyj-golos-biznesu-vystupaye-proty-zaprovadzhennya-derzhavnogo-regulyuvannya-rynkiv-energetyky\/","title":{"rendered":"Business unanimously opposes the introduction of state regulation of energy markets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, January 22, 2021, there was a meeting of the EBA member companies with representatives of the energy industry, international organizations, relevant associations, and market experts to professionally discuss the negative consequences of the introduced state regulation of the gas market on the platform of the EBA Energy Committee.<\/p>\n<p>All participants of the discussion unanimously alerted on extremely negative effects of the decision implemented by the Government, namely, for:<br \/>\n\u00b7 macro-financial situation and the risk of not receiving an IMF tranche;<br \/>\n\u00b7 reforming the gas market and increasing competition;<br \/>\n\u00b7 national mining companies due to lower commodity prices for gas.<\/p>\n\t<div class=\"blockquote-custom-big animate-block animate-block--before animate-block--to-right\">\n\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-header\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Serhii_Verbov.png\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"name\">Serhii Verbov<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"position\">EBA Energy Committee Coordinator<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"blockquote-custom\">\n\t\t\t\tThe community has always emphasized the importance of competitive market pricing in all sectors, including the gas and electricity. After all, it is the market and free competition that make it possible to set an appropriate gas price for the population. This is also relevant for the gas extracted in Ukraine.\n\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Also, during the discussion, the participants concluded that it is necessary to eliminate cross-subsidization of household consumers by industrial consumers in the electricity market and bring the tariff to the market level.
