While last week there was barely any progress on the EBA initiatives, this week we have two important achievements in the areas of HR and logistics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So, briefly about the main news:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">SRSU did not approve <\/span><\/strong><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the draft order of the MIU on the unification of tariffs on empty runs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On August 5, 2020, the Ministry <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">of Infrastructure published a draft Order proposing the unification of tariffs on <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">empty runs, namely, the establishment of a single tariff rate for running empty <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">railroad cars of all classes and its further indexation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Association appealed to the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">relevant agencies to establish a moratorium on any increase in tariffs for rail <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">freight (including by their unification\u00a0) until the end of 2020. After all, in the crisis <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">of 2020, any increase in tariffs will create excessive financial pressure on <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Association welcomes <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the decision of the SRSU to disapprove of the draft Order and thanks for <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">considering the position of the logistics community!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Verkhovna Rada has <\/span><\/strong><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">taken a step towards the introduction of electronic workbooks<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Business welcomes the adoption of <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">draft law \u21163623, which introduces the electronic format of employment <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">relations, in the first reading.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The draft law will allow the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">business to reduce the cost of paperwork, minimize the risks associated with <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the loss of paper workbook and possible falsification of records, and enable <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the automatic accrual of retirement benefits.
