Today the EBA business-community held a meeting with Oleg Churiy, the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, to talk about legislative novelties on the liberal model of currency regulation in Ukraine proposed by the regulator.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proposals of the NBU are mainly related to the implementation of the free maintenance of transactions, currency values revision, fixing the vast majority of calculations to the national currency as well as currency restrictions as temporary methods which can be used in the period of crisis etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is expected, that as a result of such changes Ukraine will be able to guarantee free movement of the capital and create more transparent condition for doing business. Moreover, the NBU will go from the permit system to informative function \u2013 from currency control to currency monitoring.<\/span><\/p>\n

The EBA has been currently working on our expert position to be passed to colleagues from the NBU.<\/span><\/p>\n
