Corruption in Ukraine is the most important negative factor, which not only hinders the inflow of new investments, but also significantly affects the business climate in the country as a whole.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday, representatives of the European Business Association met with Nazar Holodnitsky, the Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, to learn about the progress in combating corruption for nearly 1.5 years of the work of the prosecutor’s office, and to discuss the effectiveness of its interaction with other authorities, in particular, with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Of Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overcoming corruption is a difficult task in Ukrainian realities. Therefore, too fast results in this direction should not be expected. Mr Holodnitsky noted that he likes Romania’s experience in this regard, and soon he plans to visit Romanian colleagues to borrow effective mechanisms in the fight against corrupt manifestations.<\/span><\/p>\n
