June turned out to be very busy with guests at the EBA Southern Ukrainian office. The month of events closed the meeting with the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ambassador, Hugues Mingarelli. The main issues for discussion became the economic situation in the region, the investment climate and its further development with attention to small, medium and large businesses.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ambassador emphasized that Ukraine for Europe is a strategic partner, and contribution to preserving its integrity and independence is the priority of Europe. Odesa Region is important for the EU, therefore it is worth supporting the process of its modernization.<\/p>\n

Also during the dialogue entrepreneurs talked about the urgent problems faced by investors in Ukraine: the encroachment of officials and law enforcement agencies, the ineffectiveness of current legislation.
