{"id":787407,"date":"2020-06-04T19:49:20","date_gmt":"2020-06-04T16:49:20","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2020-06-09T16:54:04","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T13:54:04","slug":"uryad-zaprovadzhuye-novi-e-servisy-dlya-biznesu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/uryad-zaprovadzhuye-novi-e-servisy-dlya-biznesu\/","title":{"rendered":"The government introduces new e-services for business\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yesterday, June 3, the Government approved two decisions that expand the possibilities of electronic interaction for business and are intended to facilitate the operational activities of companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">First is the decision to\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">introduce electronic workbooks<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The Cabinet of Ministers supported the draft law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Electronic Employment Records, which implies the elimination of paper workbooks. The pension for citizens will be accrued automatically by age &#8211; through a personal electronic account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">An employee may request to keep the use of a paper workbook. At such a request, the employer may continue to enter data on the employee\u2019s work experience both in the paper book and in electronic employment records. If the employee wishes to have just electronic employment records, the original paper workbook will be further deposited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For the business, such a decision would help to save money on the administration of the recruitment, transfer, and dismissal of employees, while for employees it means more convenience and less bureaucracy in employment procedures. The final approval of this initiative requires the approval of people&#8217;s deputies, so we hope that the Verkhovna Rada will support this draft law to simplify the regulation of labor relations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The second decision concerns the launch of a pilot project of\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">electronic application for permits for the international transportation of goods<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The relevant Resolution was supported by the Cabinet of Ministers. The digitalization will eliminate bureaucratic obstacles, increase the objectivity and transparency in the process of requesting and issuing transportation permits. The business community of the European Business Association hopes for the successful implementation of the pilot project and its operation on an ongoing basis.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<div class=\"blockquote-custom-big animate-block animate-block--before animate-block--to-right\">\n\n\t\t<div class=\"quote-header\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Svitlana_Mykhailovska-1.jpg\">\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"name\">Svitlana Mykhailovska<\/span>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"position\">EBA Deputy Director for Advocacy<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"blockquote-custom\">\n\t\t\t\tSuch decisions absolutely meet the requirements of the time. Most services must be transferred online for the smooth operation of companies, even in times of crisis. It is not only more convenient and resource-saving, but also means a more transparent relationship between business and the state, readiness for any force majeure.
