Why 5 million ukrainians are working abroad? What can we do to keep talents within the country?\u00a0Deficit of professionals in both corporate and industrial sectors, migration, instability on the labor market \u2013 all these factors reflect much modern reality in ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>That is why we decided to find the reasons for such a problem as well as to think of possible solutions. Our new research project \u2013\u00a0<strong>HAPPINESS BAROMETER<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 is focused on business and real everyday practical activity without political slogans.<\/p>\n<p>Due to our calculations index rate is\u00a0<strong>2,47 points<\/strong> of possible 5 (Likert scale).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Barometer_ENG_20092018.pdf\"><strong>View the Presentation<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Metodology:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We asked 683 respondents (internet audience) about their vision of life in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Key factors:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><em>income level<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>current job<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>health care system<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>education system<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>leisure \/ social life<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>security &amp; safety<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>human rights<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>ecology<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>general life experience<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Weighs we used for calculations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Region: Kyiv \u2013 70% of respondents.<\/p>\n<p>Age: 26 \u2013 40 years old \u2013 60% of respondents.<\/p>\n<p>Audience: office workers of all levels \u2013 over 40% of respondents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Higher points:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>3,29<\/strong> points\u00a0\u2013 current job<\/li>\n<li><strong>3,09<\/strong> points\u00a0\u2013 leisure \/ social life<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,68<\/strong> points\u00a0\u2013 life experience<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,51<\/strong> points\u00a0\u2013 education system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lower points:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2,29<\/strong> points \u2013 income level<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,26<\/strong> points \u2013 ecology<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,20<\/strong> points \u2013 human rights<\/li>\n<li><strong>2,04<\/strong> points \u2013 health care<\/li>\n<li><strong>1,90<\/strong> points \u2013 security &amp; safety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key figures<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0vast\u00a0majority\u00a0of\u00a0respondents\u00a0are\u00a0more\u00a0or\u00a0less\u00a0satisfied\u00a0with\u00a0their\u00a0current\u00a0job<br \/>\n&amp;\u00a0work-life\u00a0balance\u00a0\u2013\u00a056%\u00a0of\u00a0respondents<\/li>\n<li>34%\u00a0of\u00a0respondents\u00a0agreed\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0level\u00a0of\u00a0their\u00a0income\u00a0is\u00a0sufficient\u00a0and\u00a044%\u00a0think\u00a0that\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0not\u00a0quite\u00a0sufficient<\/li>\n<li>48%\u00a0of\u00a0respondents\u00a0think\u00a0that\u00a0our\u00a0health\u00a0care\u00a0system\u00a0is\u00a0poor\u00a0and\u00a026%\u00a0consider\u00a0it\u00a0as\u00a0strongly\u00a0unsatisfactory<\/li>\n<li>Education\u00a0in\u00a0Ukraine:\u00a041%\u00a0think\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0poor\u00a0and\u00a035%\u00a0pointed\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0satisfactory<\/li>\n<li>Safety\u00a0&amp;\u00a0security:\u00a0poor\u00a0\u2013\u00a046%,\u00a0strongly\u00a0unsatisfactory\u00a0\u2013\u00a034%<\/li>\n<li>Rule\u00a0of\u00a0law\u00a0&amp;\u00a0human\u00a0rights:\u00a0poor\u00a0\u2013\u00a043%,\u00a0strongly\u00a0unsatisfactory\u00a0\u2013\u00a024%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to do<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Government<\/strong>: create\u00a0conditions\u00a0for\u00a0better\u00a0life &#8211; improve\u00a0the\u00a0legislation\u00a0in\u00a0terms\u00a0of\u00a0taxation\u00a0(salaries),\u00a0gaurantee\u00a0the\u00a0rule\u00a0of\u00a0law,\u00a0safety\u00a0and\u00a0security\u00a0(effective\u00a0courts,\u00a0police\u00a0and\u00a0army),\u00a0continue\u00a0health\u00a0care\u00a0reform,\u00a0improve\u00a0education\u00a0syste pay\u00a0attention\u00a0to\u00a0ecological\u00a0situation\u00a0and\u00a0waste\u00a0management\u00a0etc<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business<\/strong>: guarantee\u00a0social\u00a0package\u00a0and\u00a0stimulate\u00a0staff\u00a0with\u00a0smart\u00a0salaries\u00a0boosting\u00a0and\u00a0be\u00a0transparent\u00a0(once\u00a0in\u00a0several\u00a0years,\u00a0but\u00a0considerable\u00a0raise),\u00a0develop\u00a0informal\u00a0education,\u00a0pay\u00a0attention\u00a0to\u00a0eldepeopl and\u00a0involve\u00a0them\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0working\u00a0process\u00a0etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why talented specialists leave ukraine seeking for better opportunities abroad?
