On January 16, an extended meeting of the Coordination Council with the participation of the Heads of Committees of the Southern Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association took place, traditionally marking the start of a new working year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Head\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Southern\u00a0Ukrainian\u00a0Office,\u00a0Kateryna\u00a0Morozova<\/strong>, presented the results of the Office\u2019s activities in 2025 and outlined the key priorities for 2026. The participants discussed the main challenges facing businesses in the southern regions, including issues of mobilization and employee reservation, tax pressure, logistics, energy resilience, and investment attraction.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition,\u00a0the\u00a0meeting\u00a0focused\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0key\u00a0priorities\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Southern\u00a0Ukrainian\u00a0Office\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0EBA (Odesa,\u00a0Mykolaiv,\u00a0Kherson)\u00a0for\u00a02026<\/strong>,\u00a0which\u00a0include:\u00a0<\/p>\n

  • Systematic Business\u2013Government Dialogue <\/strong>\u2013 regular communication with regional and national authorities, tax and customs services, and the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority to promptly resolve critical business issues.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • Business Protection and Advocacy <\/strong>\u2013 representing the interests of companies at the regional and national levels, reducing administrative pressure and risks, especially for businesses in frontline regions.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • Logistics, Ports, and Export <\/strong>\u2013 cooperation with the USPA, customs, and border services to maintain export potential, simplify procedures, and develop alternative logistics routes.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • Energy Resilience and Business Continuity <\/strong>\u2013 dialogue with authorities and relevant institutions, exchange of best practices on autonomous energy solutions, and implementation of joint recovery initiatives.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • Focus on Mykolaiv and Kherson Regions <\/strong>\u2013 supporting businesses through online \u201cBusiness\u2013Government\u201d formats, fostering cooperation, and implementing targeted recovery projects.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  • International Communication and Recovery <\/strong>\u2013 promoting the investment potential of southern Ukraine, maintaining transparent communication with donors and partners, and expanding access to financial and insurance tools for businesses.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In\u00a0addition,\u00a0the\u00a0participants\u00a0elected Oleksandr Lazarev as the Head of the Coordination Council for 2026. <\/strong>Congratulations on the trust and best wishes for the successful implementation of common goals!<\/p>\n
