On October 29, a meeting of the\u00a0<\/span>HR Management Committee<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>of the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association took place on the topic\u00a0<\/span>\u201cWorking with Veterans and Their Family Members in the Workplace.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udd39 The event brought together HR professionals, executives, and business representatives who seek to understand how to create a working environment in which veterans and their family members feel respect, support, and opportunities for development. Returning from war is not merely a change of role, but a deep process of adaptation that requires new approaches to communication, empathy, and management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udd39 The expert of the meeting,\u00a0<\/span>Andrii Kaspshyshak<\/strong>, Head of the Office for Veterans and Their Families at the Ukrainian Catholic University, helped participants view the topic more broadly as a shared responsibility of society and business. The discussion focused on:
\n\u2013 psychological and social aspects of veterans\u2019 return to teams;
\n\u2013 building trust based and sensitive communication;
\n\u2013 developing corporate support policies that work in practice;
\n\u2013 the role of leadership in the adaptation process and the personal mental resilience of managers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udd39 The meeting was moderated by\u00a0<\/span>Nadiia Shaban<\/strong>, Head of the EBA HR Management Committee and HR Director at LEONI Wiring Systems UA GmbH, who created a space for professional dialogue where everyone could share experience and find answers to complex questions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83c\udf3f Participants emphasized that support for veterans is not a one time initiative, but part of a long term culture of mutual respect and humanity that businesses must cultivate systematically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
