The team of JSC \u201cOTP BANK\u201d carried out a Christmas mission of kindness by visiting the\u00a0Nizhyn\u00a0Children\u2019s Boarding School in the Chernihiv region to create a festive atmosphere for its residents. The initiative<\/a> was implemented as part of the charitable program OTP Bank Helps Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cChristmas and New Year holidays are a special time when every child needs even more attention, care, and faith in miracles. The mission of OTP BANK as a socially responsible bank is to be present at such moments, to support those in need, and to give warmth and hope for a better future. It is from such small acts of kindness that great changes are born,\u201d<\/em> said\u00a0Lesia\u00a0Syrota, Team Leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine<\/a> program and Director of the Retail Sales and Network Management Department at OTP BANK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Nizhyn\u00a0Children\u2019s Boarding School is home to 105 residents with intellectual and\/or physical disabilities. On the eve of the holidays, each child received sweet treats from OTP BANK, while the institution was provided with essential hygiene products that its residents need on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

The total cost of the charitable initiative amounted to UAH 204,000. The funds were collected by OTP BANK employees.<\/p>\n

This is already the third charitable project implemented by the Bank for the\u00a0Nizhyn\u00a0Children\u2019s Boarding School. In 2023, with the support of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program, OTP BANK donated<\/a> ceiling hoists to the institution \u2013 special equipment that enables lifting children with physical disabilities from beds, transferring them to wheelchairs, and assisting with hygiene procedures. In addition, the residents of the boarding school received<\/a> embroidered shirts for\u00a0Vyshyvanka\u00a0Day.<\/p>\n

We would also like to recall that recently the team of JSC \u201cOTP BANK\u201d joined the ranks<\/a> of Saint Nicholas\u2019s helpers and purchased warm winter clothing, footwear, blankets, pillows, duvets, and gifts for children who live and study at the\u00a0Udaytsi\u00a0Educational and Rehabilitation Center in the Chernihiv region, as well as at the Chernihiv Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children. The total cost of this project exceeded UAH 750,000.<\/p>\n
