On September 30,\u00a0<\/span>Maryana Lutsyshyn<\/strong>, Head of the Western Ukrainian Office of the European Business Association, took part in a meeting with\u00a0<\/span>Marta Kos<\/strong>, European Commissioner for Enlargement. The informal lunch format created space for an open and meaningful dialogue on the role of women in society and Ukraine\u2019s future within the European Union.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83e\udd1d The meeting was also attended by\u00a0<\/span>Katar\u00edna Mathernov\u00e1<\/strong>, EU Ambassador to Ukraine,\u00a0<\/span>Ylva Johansson<\/strong>, EU Special Envoy for Ukrainians in the EU,\u00a0<\/span>Anna Jarosz-Friis<\/strong>, Director of the Ukraine Service at DG NEAR,\u00a0<\/span>Kateryna Kit<\/strong>, First Lady of Lviv, as well as women leaders from the Lviv region. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, raise important issues, and amplify the voices of Ukrainian women leaders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udca1 The discussion focused on:
\n\u2022 the current state of women\u2019s leadership in Ukraine;
\n\u2022 the importance of mutual support and inspiration;
\n\u2022 the creation of new dialogue formats to promote gender equality and the development of women\u2019s entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u2728 A key takeaway was the shared vision that the ultimate goal is to reach a level where gender is no longer a separate topic, and people are evaluated by their contribution rather than by their gender.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
